I had a blast photographing Rachel a couple weeks ago . . . this is actually part one of a two part shoot. The first shoot was with curls and the second one will be with straight hair. As a fellow curly-haired-girl . . . I'm loving the curls but I think it'll be so much fun to have two different styles!
Spencer (and Company)
Friday, August 14, 2009
I first photographed Spencer when he was 13 years old . . . he'll tell you that it was his awkward stage, but I think he was pretty cute! Anyway, now he's a big senior and I'm so privileged to have gotten to photograph him again! He brought along his brother and sisters and we made some images of them too. What a good-looking, but more importantly, what a really NICE group of kids!

Niamh
So . . . photographing one-year-olds usually presents a bit of a challenge as these little toddlers often have their own ideas about how their photo shoot should go. But little Niamh was not your typical toddler. She sat on her chair and smiled and was just about as perfect as you can hope a one-year-old to be! I was so excited to photograph her as I was lucky enough to photograph her older brother Aiden at the same age. My best compliment as a photographer is when my clients come back to see me again!

A Soggy, but Beautiful Wedding in York
It's always a risky thing to plan an outdoor wedding in Nebraska . . . and it doesn't always work out they way you plan. We rolled into York, Nebraska just as the clouds started to cover. Needless to say, everyone was a little stressed out, checking the radar constantly and seeing a big green and yellow blob, move closer and closer. It ended up downpouring about an hour before the ceremony was scheduled to start, but much to everyone's excitement, the storm cleared away just in time, leaving things just a little soggy. Alexis and Thomas ended up having a beautiful wedding . . . absolutely fabulous . . . in Alexis' mom's backyard. It was a happy celebration with lots of love! Congratulations Alexis and Rusel . . . I'm so excited I got to photograph your special day!
